At Polpharma Biologics we work in the most modern laboratories and use innovative technologies for our research. Our R&D and production site in Gdansk is one of the most advanced biotechnology centers in Europe. In Duchnice near Warsaw we have the state-of-art commercial production site and in Utrecht a center of early stage research.
Gdańsk
Our 7,500 square metre R&D and production facility is located at the heart of one of the most bustling biotechnology, IT and energetics hubs in Poland. The Gdansk site is one of the most modern biotechnology centers in Europe and here we employ over 650 people. We develop the processes and produce batches of biologics for clinical trials and medium-scale commercial materials. We are supported by QC, QA and project management teams.

Our site in the Netherlands is located in the Utrecht Science Park, a hub for education, research, entrepreneurship and healthcare. The state-of-the-art facility focuses on the generation of new biologics and their initial development including production cell lines for monoclonal antibodies and other proteins. We currently employ around 60 personnel at the site, many are industry veterans in early stage development.

BIO Academy is the educational program Polpharma Biologics created with the development of our employees in mind. We offer it to those new to biotechnology, for those who want to supplement their understanding, as well as for experienced employees who would like to expand their knowledge and skills.
Participants can make use of a wide range of learning tools including lectures by our experienced employees and world-class external experts, workshops conducted in specially designed laboratories, e-learning courses, modern tutorials and instructional videos.
Career Lab - internship program
Our internship program, Career Lab, offers ambitious students and recent graduates the opportunity to develop their careers by working alongside some of the industry’s leading professionals in our modern biotechnology centers in Europe.
The program is intended for students and graduates who are fluent in English and have completed or are completing their studies in biotechnology, biology, chemistry, or related sciences.
